A/b Testing and token

Hi all,

I have a question about tokens related to a/b testing.
We use for our subject line in our emails tokens  (i.e. {{my.Subject 1 Invitation}}. As well we use this subject line token several time in the email it self. At the moment we are A/B testing with different subjectlines

Now we are wondering if it is possible to link this token to the A/B testing. So one of the tested subject line is picked in the subject line and through the e-mail. And after the test the winner subject line is used.

Is this possible or does anyone knows how to set this up?

Thanks!

You should be able to do this, but you wouldn't use the subject line a/b test, you would use the "Whole Email" test instead: https://community.marketo.com/MarketoArticle?id=kA050000000LC9XCAW

The reason for this is because you might be able to use tokens in the subject line test, but you wouldn't also be able to line up the copy of the email with it (i.e. switching out token 1 for token 2).

If you create two completely unique emails with their respective tokens, and then test those, it should work.
