A/B Test vs Random sample

Hi Everyone,

Could you please help me understanding the pros and cons of using real A/B test in a program or EP and using random sample in the SC flow ?

A/B tests will provides with many features that random sample will not provide:

  • email alerts to declare a champion in the champion/challenger A/B test
  • Automated declaration of the champion in the email program types, after a duration you can set
  • Reporting

The only think that a A/B test cannot do is to be sent in a batch flow, but event this can be workaround: have you batch call a trigger is the "request campaign / campaign is requested" flow and trigger.
