Adobe Marketo Engage

I use a checkbox to collect opt-ins on my forms, and right now, we are NOT using Progressive Profiling, so the box appears every time. I'd like to use Progressive Profiling to only show the checkbox the first time around, BUT that means that if they DON'T opt in that first time, they won't be offered a second chance. I'd like a custom Progressive Profiling solution to stop showing the checkbox if the user checks it but to continue to show it upon future visits if the user did not check it. Has anyone done something like this? Marketo Support confirms that this is how things will work, and I will need a custom developer to implement my desired solution. Have you found a work-around or a developer that has helped you solve this issue? 

Does anyone know how to turn ‘email delivered’ date into an object for use in the email templates? I have created a flow with follow up emails and I would like them presented as being in the same chain. To do this I need to capture the delivery date and time of the previous send for use in my follow up. Any suggestions I would be very grateful.

What I CANNOT do is to embed a survey within my email. How should I proceed? Is there a tutorial? Should I code it? Is there any example? Should I work with a third party platform? Which one? I can see the field name change reflected in the CRM Custom Entity/Object, but when I look for the field in constraint for filter/trigger I only see the old name. Help me!! I may have created a blunder. I wanted to make changes to the smart lists in two approved segments for job roles and job levels. Without realizing that I have to create a draft and approve them, I simply unapproved the segments and made edits to the smart lists. I can see that when I edited the smart lists, the number of people in the segment was unaffected.What do I do now? How do I go from here?Please help. Thank you.

We are building out velocity scripts in excel and need to copy them into velocity script within Marketo. When copying from excel to marketo, we need to remap everything my dragging the fields for it to work. Is there a way to keep velocity script mapping/formatting when copying from another source? 

I built a dialogue for Dynamic Chat and upon publishing, I receive this error: "Stream cannot have disconnected paths."Usually, when I receive this error, Dynamic Chat will highlight what path is causing the error, but this particular instance is not throwing me any visual aid. I have tested the flow via the built-in Dynamic Chat preview tool and it's working flawlessly. I've used the magic wand to organize my cards and I have double checked every single path in my dialogue (AFAIK!). I don't see any disconnected paths in my dynamic chat stream. Has anyone run into this problem? Is there something I am missing?

Team, Wanted to check that Marketo support deep links login with Azure SAML Single Sign On process. Is there any separate configuration need to be be done? Example: if any one clicks through design studio, marketing activities or admin pages (https://engage-ab.marketo.com/?munchkinId=********/classic/AD0A1 ) directly rather than going through main login page. Question: If we add fields "Email 2" and "Email 3" from CRM how are these handled?1) Confirm these email addresses would not be sent any email.2) If a form completion is done with an email address that is in one of those values, will Marketo know not to create a new record?

Hi - when we set up sync, we were told we should have a dedicated SFDC license, but for the life of me I can't figure out what the reason is. We ended up using my boss's seat as he rarely uses it, but he occasionally does and then forgets his password and thus my sync is hosed. I do have a SFDC license with full admin privledges but basically use it for back-end admin stuff and reporting. I don't work any leads or opportunities, so that wouldn't be an issue. Any reasons anyone can think of that my account shouldn't be used as the sync account?

This question references my previous question on BOT activity We are engaging in some A/B testing of our marketing emails that are in an engagement stream, as one should.  I choose "new test" 50/50 with champion and challenger.  Up to now we have only done subject line tests.  I have tried 'Click to open %' and 'Custom Conversion Ratio' (clicking on one specific link in that email), but all results are within a couple clicks of 50/50.  This week we tried whole emails, and STILL the results are 50/50 I am starting to get the feeling that BOT activity is driving these A/B test results.  In the previous question linked above, we had found out that a large amount of our clicks were coming from the first link in the TEXT ONLY version, suspecting BOT activity.  A recent email:Do you have any ideas on how to filter out BOT clicks for A/B testing?Thanks.

We are trying to set up the Adobe Connect LaunchPoint service for our Live Webinars and we are having problems setting up the service. The link required for the meetings folder url is not clear as to what it should be and we are getting an Authentication Failure error when trying to make the connection. We have created other services before so we are not sure what is different about this one.  

I am looking to create a velocity script that assigns token value by page segmentation instead of lead segmentation. So for example, I want to assign a different token value based on language segment. The reason I do not want to use lead segmentation values is not all leads are cookied and may not have values.  How can I segment dynamical in velocity script by page segmentation?

We have some legally required operational email that are sent out to consumers. It's the first time some of these consumers have heard from us. We noticed in our monitoring that occasionally we get marked as spam.  If we get any SPAM notifications, we disable email address and instead send a physical letter. So we are trying to keep our lists as clean as possible.  However, we are trying to understand if there would be any changes to deliverability or sender reputation from Gmail or Yahoo based on these operational emails getting marked as SPAM.
