Adobe Marketo Engage

Our team hosts webinar on GoTo Webinar which syncs with Marketo, but some users have been having issues when they receiving their webinar registration confirmation email and try to add to their calendar. I've been using the marketo calendar token for ical/outlook and creating a link for gmail using Kalinka - but our conversion rate for live attendees at our webinars has been pretty low ever since we integrated marketo with GTW, whereas in the past the registration was all done on the GTW platform and we had to manually update that info in Marketo. Has anyone else had issues with marketo's calendar tokens or have a solution that's worked for them? I don't feel that doing the registration in GTW is a good idea as that seems like back tracking when we do have a marketo/GTW sync working, but I don't want our live attendee numbers to keep slipping and the calendar feature is the only negative feedback I've received. I'm a little new to creating forms on Marketo and I am unsure what to do. I've created a form with multiple "areas of interest" checkboxes that someone can select. I want to notify the right sales team leader in an email when someone selects 1 or more areas of interest. How do I do that? This is what I have so far in the email. Is there a way to deactivate mkt_tok from all links in an email by default? It often messes up the link, or causes it to actually go to the wrong page on the intended site. Very frequently.This link: https://lectionary.library.vanderbilt.edu/texts.php?id=85...will actually go to ttps://lectionary.library.vanderbilt.edu/texts.php?id=81 when someone clicks. Note the 85 turning to 81, completely changing the page people land on.   The only reasonable fix is to turn off mkt_tok. I am responsible for tons of emails, with tons of links. I have to go on vacation and people have to cover for me. I need to make this reasonably simple. 

I'm updating a form that needs to use multiple visibility rules for one field. Can you use "OR" as an operator when creating a visibility rule? Example:I have hidden form content that I want to show if [Field A] OR [Field B] are empty.  It seems that creating more than one visibility rule is using "AND" operator logic. Are there any solutions where I can use "OR"?

For date/time A/B testing, the process of determining the winner needs to be done manually, as there is no automatic option available. After analyzing the results, the winner must be declared, and the winning email sent accordingly.  However, if there is no intention to declare a winner and simply send emails at different times, utilizing a 100% sample size can achieve this. I want to send out 4 emails to a static list (one after the other with a gap of 10 days) and the last (4th) email should be sent every 90 days once, how do I build the loop logic? I have tried sending 3 emails in one Trigger campaign, as and when the person is added to the list. In flow step, I am using the Send Email and Wait activity for the 3 emails, for the 4th email I use the "Request Campaign" filter. In the request campaign, I use a Wait activity of 90 days and send the 4th email, and then wait for 90 days. Last step, "Remove from flow", if the person was removed from this static list--> then do nothing, default choice Campaign--> this campaign. But what I have observed is, "Request campaign" is triggered only from the 1st campaign once or when the record is created newly. Is there a simpler way to send out the 4th email in loop, or can optimize the current logic?Note: We have a journey for these people, with 10-12 campaigns. IssueWhen trying to clone a Form or Landing page from Design Studio to a specific Program under Marketing Activities, there is no list of programs that appear.  SolutionThis is expected behavior. When you don't see a program listed, this is because the number of programs in Marketing Activities actually exceeds what we're able to display at one time.If you start typing into the Program field in the pop-up window, you should start to see programs listed in the drop-down.For example, you enter the name of the particular program, you will get a result. 

I need some advice as we are partnering with another company who use Pardot.They want our Marketo form data in order to create a form handler. Assuming they can create that after I give them each field value contained in our form. They then set up an endpoint to receive submissions from our Marketo form into their Pardot marketing automation system.But then what? – They say I will need to update the form action to point to the new endpoint they’ll provide and ensure the field names in our form match or are appropriately mapped to the expectations of their form handler. I am not clear how that works, technically. Can you please advise, provide information so I can get better acquainted with this process? – Does it simply mean another step gets added to the flow of my Marketo program, or do I need to use an IT/dev resource for assistance in this matter? Thank you.

Hi! My form is going to need multiple open area txt fields for a "one off" application.Therefore, fields will not be needed in CRM and I would like to know if I have no choice but to create custom Marketo fields for this purpose? - I didn't want to fill the database with extra custom fields that won't be used again.Are there any ways around this just to capture some information?Or, can you recommend a generic method for if I must create custom fields so they have some purpose?For example, is it best to just call it:  extra open field 1, extra open field 2, extra open field 3? What is this concept of repurposing a comments field, btw?Thank you. Hoping someone has had the same issue and figured out a solution. Every time I log into Marketo, I get a System Error saying "Error Has Occurred - The details of this error have been sent automatically to Marketo. Refresh your browser." but not matter what I do, it comes up every time. I contacted support and they said it was temporary issue that would resolve and I'm still getting it daily, a month later.  Any ideas?

We currently have bi-directional synch between Marketo and SFDC. Our marketing team attend/sponsor conferences and receive a full list of event attendees however have not engaged with any our sales reps or visited our booth. However we do import them into our marketo instance via a list import. What we would like to do is:Only have in marketo and stop the synch for these people to synch over to SFDC Set their lead score to 0 Assigned to a marketing owner.Once they have engaged with any of our nurture emails their lead/behaviour score would be greater than 0and have them synched over to SFDC and reassigned to a SDRHas anyone done anything like this or have ideas on how to get something like this set up?

We worked with a third party for form shortening and now we're at a stage where we need to modify their existing code they setup for us to include an onMatch function for a list of countries, where as if country is a match for any of the ones in our list, the form should expand regardless. They provided us with one country example, but we need to expand it to include others.
