Adobe Marketo Engage

Hello, I am trying to build an influence over opportunities report but it's kind of complex. What we are trying to do is to create a report that is more "Account oriented" rather than "person oriented", it means that we would like to consider as influenced all the opportunities associated to an account whenever a person from that account reaches the status of "Success" in any marketing activity, regardless of whether they are existing contacts in our CRM (Dynamics) or new leads. Does anyone has any idea if this is doable or not? 

Hello, I created a campaign in Salesforce and then added a member status that we initially did not have. That status is "Opened". In Marketo, I went to Admin, Tag, Channel and for the "Email Outbound" channel, I unhid the "Opened" status.  Then when I go to my email program where I have triggers to update the Salesforce Campaign Member Statuses depending on the action the person takes in that email. For my trigger looking at email opens, the campaign member status "Opened" doesn't show up in the dropdown.New update, when I went into Salesforce to look at my "Opened" status that I added yesterday, it was gone! Can Marketo delete member statuses that are in Salesforce??  Thank you for the help!Alexandra

I have two sets of global forms right now - one for use on landing pages and one for use on our website. We initially set it up this way because the website forms had slightly different needs than the landing page ones, but that is no longer the case. Before I sunset one set of forms and start using just the other set, is there a good reason to keep them separate that I'm not considering? Once I combine them, it will be more work to separate them again if I need to. Do y'all use just one set of forms for both use cases, or do you split them?

Marketo won't send out email template drafts today, November 14th, 2024. Two of us in our company are having the same issue. I've tried work and personal email addresses.

When I add a url to a cta button, the link starts with https. But the link is converted to http when I hover over the cta in the sample email. Example: http://www.email.biamp.com/OTI0LUpDWi03OTIAAAGXBBjFKZxhIh1nxuMDFpXdYFDB8fUvQJNFecMyfDJk_WDOjWvo9c9tYoycYPIrxpME3dl2A9E= After clicking on the cta, it then converts back to https. Example:https://www.biamp.com/contact-us?mkt_tok=OTI0LUpDWi03OTIAAAGXBBjFKSoLuv3vlZUqmAqBwkQ46FQHslhQp7vz5boBo9VBvkPkpdv5eae20cvASSbNlzfwvzc2af9jaMo1vP1Es4LujHdIdO7So1qxtq-XNR4 Does this happen for all links?  A colleague mentioned an unsecure warning pops up when he clicks the link due to the http. Is there any way to avoid this?

However, they're reporting that they are unable to see any Persons data from Marketo, but are able to see the Activities data. They think it has something to do with the permissions on the Marketo side that's causing this, but I have looked through the documentation and don't see what's missing. Anybody else experience this problem before? Any

I have confirmed that individuals have completed MKTO forms on an MKTO LP and a web page, but there is no record of their existence in MKTO afterward (let alone that they completed the form). The common denominator is that the email address prefixes are all numbers (e.g., 2300000@domain.com or 09456@domain.com).I've tried manually adding one of the individuals as a new MKTO record, but it works only if I save the record first using a non-all-digit email address as a placeholder and then replace it. We do not have any active Global Form Validation Rules in place. Anyone else have this issue and know how to resolve? Hi Team,We are trying to fetch all records from a custom data object which has a particular email , email field  is not a dedupe field and while trying to get the records via restapi we are getting invlalid filterttype "emailaddress" error since its not a dedupe or a searchable field.Any pointers towards reading the infomration from custom object based on non dedupe field and can we also get help from marketo team to support searching based on this non dedupe field.  

Is there a way to disqualify form data if the data language is is not the primary language of the target audience?

Hi everyone,We would like to clean out some of the bad data in our Marketo lately to manage the usage.I have noticed something and looking accross the community , but not quite sure if there is a better solution with it?Some of the bad data were inserting like asdf@asdf.com,  123123@gmail.com,  ddd@ddd.dd.uk , since the leads might be insert for requesting some , but it is a fault email address, so they never being delivery with any email, that is why Marketo won't be able to recognize these email address are invalid or should be suspened?When I run the smart list, these email address just sit in marketo, but Not showing as Email invalid , Email suspened, not even UnsubscribedDoes anyone know what will be the better way to identify them? Thank youKind regards,

I'm looking to set up a test webinar in the Marketo Interactive Webinar platform for 12/3. If I plan to invite 1 colleague as a co-host and 3 colleagues as attendees, is it possible to also set up a meeting with the 5 of us, 1 week prior, to enter the webinar lobby and play around with the layouts so we can get it perfected prior to the 12/3 webinar test? Just wondering if it's possible for co-hosts and/or attendees to enter the webinar lobby in advance of the scheduled webinar? I don't want to waste additional webinar credits by setting up too many test programs. Thanks!! 

Hello,    I received a Marketo Salesforce Sync Error that myself and my team are not familiar with. The error is as follows: I was able to find one post about something close to this error, but their issue was with a specific to a lead sync issue, based on a problematic character. You can find that thread here: https://nation.marketo.com/t5/product-discussions/lead-sync-error/td-p/64235 I have ran a test and can see that we are syncing new and existing leads with no issue. I was wondering if anyone is familiar with this lead, and if any action is even needed.    Thanks!

Hi all, We'd like to create an escalable process to stamp the acquisition program to our database. What would be the best way to do this?For the moment we used to do it on a program level, but there's a big chunk of our database that does not have it because we did not have it implemented in the past. Tried to rebatch them using tokens for the acquisition program value but Marketo won't let me do it. Looking forward for the community best practices. Thanks!

My campaign involves a landing page with a form which 5 choices in a survey. Each choice will trigger a welcome email and a series of 3 emails specific to that choice, the 3 emails to be sent weekly regardless of their engagement so no transition rules needed. I know Marketo has its own stream test but this doesnt send me email series so i can see it works in sequence. I want to be able to run a test where my survey submission triggers the welcome email (which i have tested and works) but also triggers the 3 emails. I want to be able to do a test where the emails are sent to me in sequence within seconds or minutes of each other, is this possible as i couldnt find anything online as guidance?

Hi Everyone, Currently we have been using default space for two different brands since our both brands are not exclusive and share leads and some assets. We are onboarding a SMS solution which require us to enable workspaces to be able to use unique branding domain links within sms. without workspaces we can only use default branding domain link. We have fair understanding of how workspaces works but wanted to get the suggestions if there are anything specific we should be concerned or mindful about before making the decision based on our use case. RegardsRecho

I'm trying to set up Conversion Lead campaigns for our company, but the issue is we can't seem to connect the conversion back to Facebook. We confirmed that Marketo is tracking the LeadID that Facebook creates when a lead is submitted, but we don't know how to have that push back to Facebook when they become a sale. When searching for Marketo within the partner section of Facebook's setup process, it directs you to LeadsBridge. We also saw that Zapier is something that we could potentially use. (Both Shown Below)Has anyone had experience setting this feedback loop up for Facebook and know how to make it work? Any advice is very much appreciated! Thank you so much for your time.

A welcome step in the process of integrating Marketo Engage into the Adobe Experience platform for many, but in the process I have seen several threads on the Community and other platforms where users ran into problems with the migration process. After liaising with the product team, here’s some tips on how navigate the process smoothly.   Communication with your Marketo Engage System Admin   You will be alerted via your Marketo Engage System Admin that the migration of your instance is scheduled. However, for many Marketo Engage customers it is not very clear who has the role of System Admin, they may not be an actual Marketo Engage user or have left the company. So if you want to be on top of the process and are unsure of who the System Admin is, I suggest to contact Marketo Support.
