Adobe Marketo Engage

It would be very helpful to have a badge showing the Person Count of a Static List, saving time in checking the Status section, especially when reviewing many Static Lists at once (e.g., checking if all Static Lists of a Program have a Person Count of 0 before running the Campaigns).

It would be great if it would be possible to create a "dynamic module" where you ould add different content based on the segmentation the lead is in. For example different text, image and button (label + URL). Currently buttons "href" cannot made dynamic and you need to create a new email that has this different content.

Currently there is no option to choose the time to send subscription list and we only have daily, every weekdays. It would be great to enhance it by adding the time option to send subscription smart list.

We would like to be able to put Marketo user accounts in deactivated status without having to count that person as a seat within our contracted amount. We like being able to see who exactly made a change to Marketo activities even if that person is no longer with the company. Right now, we have 25 contracted user seats (including API users), so we are challenged on being able to keep the user activity history while also staying within our contracted user limits.    Our recommended solution is to standardized a deactivated user role and not count users with that role in the contracted limits. We also recommend not including the API users within the contracted limits.

Hi team,   This is for a customer enhance request. The customer has deleted few contact records and then restored them that has caused the restored records to lose sync with Dynamics. There are duplicates created in Marketo that have the same GUIDs and we are unable to merge as it throws an error. Dynamics has no duplicates. There is a huge list of these in Marketo and this feature implementation would be highly useful for them.

A beneficial feature would be to be able to resend users with updated information in SFDC without deleting and updating in SFDC side. Now the connection only let`s you send the first time a lead and after you get an error of  Failed to update SFDC{INSUFFICIENT_ACCESS_OR_READONLY: insufficient access rights on object id}

Having the source/reason attributes set to dynamic chat for the  updates made by dynamic chat will help us filter on the field values updated specifically by the dynamic chat in the SL/triggers. Currently the source in the field updates made by dynamicChat in activity shows Web Service API, it’d be great if we could say if the values were updated by the dynamicChat  specifically. Additionally, it'd also be great if dynamic chat is added as one of the input sources that we could check-mark to block updates in the field management section on the respective fields, if need be. There could be use-cases where we would wanna capture the data from dynamic chat for a new person but not update if there's already a non-empty value present on an existing person in the Marketo.

Use Case - Stock Recommendation   Objective: To show relevant buy/sell stock recommendation based on buyers watchlist option chosen in the website.   Fields to be Used: Custom Object: Account Securities Custom Field: InWatchlist Custom Field: SecType   Use Case Scenario If InWatchlist is Yes and has the SecType Containing specific counter want to show a banner for the user with buy/sell  in the website. Example; If user has the counter Sectype DelMonte in Watchlist SecName: DelMonte InWatchList: Yes Then show the Delmonte Banner in web campaign for that particular user (In Future we wanted to make the text within banner to be dynamically updated from the data sets from custom objects)   Current Issue: Since we are unable to import Custom Objects within the Account Database (below is screenshot) we are unable to identify that particular user has added the specific counter to his watchlist. And due to the same we  are unable to fire the relevant web campaig

The ability to expire all assets inside a program at a selected date and time is helpful, but I'd like to be able to go one step further and manage more than one program at the same time. I would be happy with the ability to do this either a) by having a "set local asset expiration" option on a folder that would cascade to all assets inside the folder, or b) by enhancing the Campaign Inspector to allow for bulk activation/deactivation as suggested in this Idea from 2014.    I'm proposing this as a separate idea in case local asset expiration is more appealing/easy to implement than Campaign Inspector upgrades, because either would work for my use case.

Expose the trigger campaign execution priority and whether or not the default campaign execution priority has been overriden or not in the in the "Campaign Inspector" tab to allow the view of all the campaigns' priority at one single place, instead of the need to go through each campaign to determing the priority and whether or not it has been overridden or not.   Community post for reference - https://nation.marketo.com/t5/product-discussions/campaign-priority-override-see-all-overridden-campaigns/m-p/326247

I am dumfounded that a record can have custom fields (from Dynamics 365 in this case), and have a view where all other fields are sortable, except the custom fields. I am told by a technician this is expected behavior, and found a 2014 case where it was identified and the "solved" solution was to export to excel and sort there. Crazy stuff and no comment needed. (Solved: Why can't I sort my custom field in the web UI? - Marketing Nation (marketo.com).   This impacts our workflow in identifying records to update without additional steps.

The AdBridge ability to send a smart list / list over to Facebook Custom Audiences, LinkedIn, or Google Customer Match is great. But you still need to manually put these over to ensure it stays relevant. Wouldn't it be great if you could set it to keep the audience in sync hourly/daily? Or even in real time? Then, you could automatically drop customers out of ad sets when they have purchased, for example.

It would be great if you could create a Preview Mode where you can open a preview space and then skip through all assets in the program in preview mode.

Per our documentation on enabling SSO:Add Single Sign-On to a Portal - Marketo Docs - Product Docswe only support IdP-initiated SSO, not SP-initiated.The differences are explained here:single sign on - Diffrence between SP initiated SSO and IDP initiated SSO - Stack Overflowand SP-initiated SSO is a stronger choice for ADFSv2 so many IT teams prefer it.It would be great if we supported SP-initiated SSO!

I came across scenarios where my clients request where they want to limit the number of registrations. We achieved the same with a bunch of effort and some manual things as well. This feature was there in Marketo Sky. I believe Marketo should add this feature and this will be a great plus.

I know this issues has been mentioned before, in the "Just do it!" thread, but there did not seem to be an actual idea linked there, so I'm posting this now.   As it stands today, if you are trying to delete a program, and the program contains, for example, a form that is used inside of a landing page, even if the form and the landing page are both inside the program, and thus would be included in the deletion process, you can't delete the program because the form asset is "in use" by the program you are trying to delete.   If the only reference to the assets is in the program targeted for deletion, I would like the ability to proceed and delete the entire program. It would be fine to get an "orange" warning about this, but deleting is already such a tedious process and this just makes the entire thing 10x worse. Yes, of course my program assets are referencing each other. I'd be more concerned if they weren't!

Hi,I think it would be beneficial for most Marketers if we could get a report on Marketo logs to see all the records with specific activity type and detail.ex: Lets say a a task creation fails or is skipped, Currently we do not have task report that we could run in Marketo and if there was a report that we could generate using the activity detail or type, it would let us identify or report on the all the records where a specific activity has occurred.Thanks,vineela.

As an integration developer, I would like to extend full-fledged support of Workfront and Marketo Engage to help customers who use both platforms. Today, the integration between the two platforms relies on using My Tokens in order to dynamically push and populate content. Because of this token pushing, knowing what tokens are actually in use by a program and which ones are extraneous or unused is important, especially at scale.   Would it be possible to pass a result key-value pair on tokens.json noting whether or not the token is in active use by an asset? This ensures that any token handling is only done to tokens which need it.

Similar to this idea from last year (I'm sure there are probably other similar posts I've missed, feel free to link to them here) -- would love to add the 'contains' operator to the Member of SFDC Campaign smart list filter. My company uses similar naming conventions for campaigns that repeat (ie product demos etc) and we have several years of history for them in our SFDC acct. Would be great if I could have a filter that says member of SFDC campaign contains "demo" rather than having to manually add 50 SFDC campaigns to the list.

sometimes i need to find a program that has already been archived - and digging through 3 years of old programs isn't idea - so a search only in archive would be helpful

Being able to customize the "My Teams Best Bets" feature of the Sales Insights would be very helpful for  Regional Sales Directors or for marketers who want to view activity in a specific area.  Adding an option to choose from a list of states or from a dropdown list of the salesforce user that the sales insights belong to would allow sales and marketing teams to manage their teams and activities better.

Please consider unifying the time zone in different parts of Marketo campaigns. Currently in the "Wait until" step in the Flow, the time zone is PDT. While in the same campaign, in the "Run later" schedule option, it's my account's preferred time zone, in my case GMT.    It would be nice to see the same time zone in the Flow Wait steps, so there's no need to recalculate the time every time!

Straightforward request: today, when Marketo Engage exposes email activities via API, it tries to run some pre-calculated values on things such as Device. However, it's unrealistic to expect Marketo Engage to have calculated values for every single user agent, especially as more devices, operating systems, and bot patterns continuously come to market. Rather than take that work in-house, would it be possible to just expose the recorded user agent value to relevant activities? This is already being recorded and shown in the UI, and this change would give integration developers a chance to write more holistic information with the results.

Currently MSI is not supported on the new Unified Interface of Microsoft Dynamics. I'd love this functionality to get added to the product road map so our sales and marketing teams can leverage MSI in our CRM.
