Adobe Marketo Engage

This project is a GatsbyJS Project. I have a button component that takes in the id of the marketo form, and the button text that when the button is clicked, it opens up a light box that holds a Marketo form. The form renders just fine. Hi there,  What are the best practices for setting up an email campaign consisting of 6 emails sent on varying times/days (ie Tuesday one week, Wednesday the following, Thursday after that, etc). These 6 emails are a one-time send, no contacts will be added throughout the campaign.   There are a few things I have tried:  1. Multiple Email Programs in a folder: I set up a folder with 6 different email programs nesting each email under the 6 email programs and added the contacts to each email program. I noticed this makes it challenging to show all emails in one report in an organized manner. 2. Default Program with multiple Email Programs nested: I have also tried utilizing a default program nesting all 6 email programs, this seems to allow me to create a folder under the default program for reporting that the one report shows all 6 emails together. 3. I created an email that uses a full-width image. The alt text does not appear when I send a sample, and the images do not download. There's also a huge space where the image would be. Examples below- As you can see, the alt text doesn't appear. What can be causing this to happen? How can I fix it?  

Hi,   I have the XLS prepared with the contact's email address and account numbers. Account numbers that are primarily numeric (but not in all cases) and presented all within the same cell in the XLS, in a readable format e.g. 22222, 33333, 44444. - These codes serve as the username for logging into a site.   How do I know which lead.TOKEN to select to ensure this data will pull through into the email and capture correctly in Marketo? It would read something like this:   Your account numbers are: {{lead.???}}  in order to get this result:  Your account numbers are: 22222, 33333, 44444, 55555.   Is there a token that exists already that I should choose from? Or, do I need to create a custom field for such lead data? Lastly, what settings to accompany? Should it be encoded as HTML since it's meant to be human readable data in the form of a 'string'?   Thank you.

Hi everyone,Quick question. I have a set of 7 different criteria that I am investigating to setup a smart list for a recurring campaign. The data fields do exist, however they are spread out across different custom objects.For example, one custom object (we will call it "Balance") has the "Tier" field, while the other custom object (we will call it "Rating") has the "Rate" field, and the last custom object (we will call it "Acquisition") has the "Acquisition Date" field.  What would be the best way to setup a campaign smart list to include these fields? Greetings, We pulled a smart list of 20,000 members. Of those 20,000 members we only want to send a monthly email to 1,200 of them so our customer service teams are not overwhelmed. So, for example:Of the 20,000 members in the smart list pull:Month 1: Send to 1,200 MembersMonth 2: Send to 1,000 MembersMonth 3: Send to 1,100 Membersetc.What would be the proper smart list / flow setup to automate this process? I'm facing little difficulty using the engagement program. I'd like to include a nested email program in the engagement program but unfortunately, unable to send email at recipient time. Is there any workaround? I need a nested email program to AB test emails. eg: Whole emails, subject line, personalization etc. Any advice is welcome.

“Only use Preview By List” has been my mantra for so long, I’d been wondering if was still justified. Could it have become FUD due to changes in Marketo? Nope, a recent Nation thread proved it’s still the way!   A user was encountering what seemed to be “missing custom objects in Velocity.” I, my community buddy @darshil_shah1, and the OP went back and forth for weeks trying to explain the symptoms. Finally, they switched from Preview by Person to Preview By List and we figured it out. Countless hours could’ve been saved by using Preview By List to start! Hi, I am building a subscription form with an Unsubscribe from All option with a reasons drop-down menu. For example: :• Too many emails• ​Content is no longer relevant• Privacy concerns• ​Other (Fill in reason below) I want to add a text box for the "other" option so that the reason can be captured. How can I accomplish this?    

We have a list import that was done recently and 594 records are in marketo but only 395 records are in SFDC. I can't find any sync error messages in the results so I'm not sure how to troubleshoot this issue. 

Hi all We have our own field in CRM called Source Campaign - which is synced with Marketo.  I want to create a smart campaign that will look at Acquisition Programme Name and automatically update the Source Campaign field. If Acquisition Programme Name is not empty, it automatically takes that info and populates Source Campaign.  I am not sure how to set up the Change Data Field option correctly. Can it be done - or do i have to set this up individually for all programmes?   Hope this makes sense! Thanks

Hey team, I would like to know the reasons why Marketo docs suggest to use hard-coded solution to track traffic instead a tag manager system such as Google Tag Manager. Since we have a large amount of forms we want to track and there are multiple Marketing teams, is difficult to kept control over each of them (and the future ones) and we though using GTM. Is there any extra reason besides the data loss? Would you be able to suggest some resources to implement GTM? Thanks.

Has anyone seen this before?Email looks great in clients. But on Mac only, clicking to view online (from web app or Mac Outlook app), the browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari) displays partially-replaced CSS class names in the custom stylesheet, which I see in inspector:   Instead of:   .cta-text-for-regular-btn p { color: #FFFFFF; }   Browser displays:   $merge.url -text-for-regular-btn p { color: #FFFFFF; }   The browser can't read that line of code, so the color reverts to its default.   What is $merge.url, and where might this be stemming from? I'm looking to be pushed in the right direction so I can focus on solutions. Thank you!
