Adobe Marketo Engage

Hi all,   I am looking for some help figuring out how to best implement the submissions coming from non-marketo form - it's a multi page format, and collecting information on each page, and the email address on the last page.  What's the best way to implement this so we can trigger campaigns based on the form fills, ensure that all submissions sync to marketo? Hi folks, I need a quick check on my understanding about email deduping. This issue came up because for an email we sent to a Prospect that is also a customer in a different Brand. We are identifying both of these with a custom field called "Brand Comms owner" in smart list.  How do I make sure that lists remain clean while sending emails. Thanks in advance

Hello Community friends!   It's been a while since I asked a question and while it's not Friday, it's close enough 😋 Looking for some advice/knowledge from my esteemed peers.   One of the current emails I'm working on requires a blank "mailto:" link in a CTA button that's edited from the module information on the right side/pane. When I add mailto:?subject=your%20subject&body=your%20body into the settings (I'm also playing with some additional content for subject and body content) and test the link (either in preview or in a sample email), it opens up a new, blank window; no email editor pops up (I'm using Google Workspace if that helps troubleshoot).   It looks like, from other posts I've read, that it might not be possible in a CTA module vs a text area (I'm sure I've used them in more than just text links but perhaps I'm misremembering) , so I was wondering: Is that the correct assumption? I am trying to send a page variant from Unbounce into a Marketo field. The page exists in Unbounce, but includes a Marketo form. I have a field on the Marketo form to capture the value. I have tried to use all the Autofill options: URL ParameterCookie ValueReferrer Parameter None of them work. I checked the page and there are three options that contain the value"variantId":"bf" variant=bf <input type="hidden" name="pageVariant" value="bf"> I want the "bf" value to populate into the Marketo form field. To ensure uninterrupted access to your Marketo Engage applications, all customers must transition to Adobe Identity by September 30, 2025.    What You Need to Know  Automatic Migration: Adobe will start taking actions to automatically migrate all remaining eligible users if your organization has not completed the migration by September 30, 2025.  Access Changes: Migrated users will no longer be able to sign in using their current Marketo Engage credentials. Anyone else having not only a bear of a time using the new Email Editor, but getting any actual answers from Support about it? Upon its initial release, we were unable to clone newly created emails in any type of Marketo program other than email programs, which we use the least at this time. Because of this, with our newly redesigned emails that we hoped to import from Emailify/Figma, we had to plug the HTML directly into the email code in the default program built in Marketing Activities, making it much more manual of a build/maintenance process. We've had ongoing issues with Email Editor properly reading the HTML that we are plugging in. Mainly, we are trying to create fragments that we can then add editable fields to in order to create a "library" of reusable fragments. Hi,  I am seeing differences between email insights and email performance reports for the same set of emails i.e engagement programs and email programs. The opens and clicks specifically don't match for the same timeframe. Please advise.

Question for the hivemindWhat tools to do use to prep files (data transformation, standardization, etc) before loading a lead list into Marketo?  I know a lot of people rely on Marketo smart campaigns to do data normalization but my concerns with that approach is that if there are spelling errors in the file then the data won't be normalized correctly which in some cases can and will cause sync issues between Marketo and SFDC.  Goal is to try to clean up as much of the data before loading into Marketo to prevent this.  Example scenario: Lead file from a conference or tradeshow may have fields below:  First NameLast NameEmailCountryCompanyStateRoleTitleProduct of Interest Some fields like Country and State in your system need to align with dependent picklist values from CRM so for example United States needs to transform to US and have 50 valid state values that are also 2 letter codes(New Hampshire = NH).   Other fields such as Role and

Hi Community, I want to see if anyone else is having the same problem as me. I attended last week's office hours for the new email editor and am exploring the use of fragments in our templates.  When I create a fragment with a background color and add it to an email, the background color does not appear in the email. Is anyone else experiencing this issue or know how to fix it? Thanks!

Hi Team, We are launching a warm-up engagement program for new contacts before transitioning them to regular marketing. We will have 3 streams:  Stream 1 - 5 emails: New contacts receive all 5 emails. If they click any, they move to Stream 2. ( if they open the email or no engagement then they dont move to next stream )Stream 2 - 2 emails: Contacts receive both emails. Hard to put a number on it, but I’d bet 51% of Marketo users don’t realize a non-empty SFDC Type field doesn’t mean the record is synced to SFDC. Same with a non-empty SFDC ID.   That’s right: someone can have SFDC Type = Contact and SFDC ID = 003BLAHZAYBLAHBLAH and there may be no trace of them in SFDC.   Why? Because those fields come from the last time they were synced and will not be updated unless they’re synced with another SFDC record in the future. And that last connected SFDC record may have been completely deleted.   Don’t believe it? Create a Smart List like this:   You might see thousands of records. (If you regularly delete people who have SFDC Is Deleted = true, the number won’t be as high.[1])   This came up recently on Marketo Nation, when someone wanted to add the person’s current SFDC Type to certain alerts (e.g. type=L or type=C). After some investigation, we discovered that the problem varies depending on the browser version being used. Hello professionals,I would like to get suggestion from others what could be the root causeScenario:We use First Touch attribution, in implicit model. In Program Opportunity Analyser I isolated a single opportunity as an example - see attached. Opportunity has 1 contact role (should not be relevant) and linked account has 60+contacts. I can see many programs have been linked to the opportunity, but when I sum the credits it just does not adds up.How is it possible sum is 6? Shouldn't single opportunity credits always adds up to to 1?Why some rows are included, even though their attribution is 0? Is it because those are from contacts in the account that were maybe acquired AFTER that opportunity was created?If there are 60 contacts, shouldn't one credit be 1/60 = 0.017. Therefore I find associated 1.77 and 0.47 very suspicious Any advice?Am I misinterpreting the First Touch results? Or is it a bug?    

Hello How do I send a 2nd email based on whether the person clicks on a link or doesn't click on a link in the 1st email?

First forum post from a longt-ime Eloqua users trying to convert to Marketo!  To simplify life I am looking to build a program that can handle lots of different forms, and conditionally run flow steps.  The first step is an 'always' step, and it's to take the 18 digit SFDC Campaign ID and write it to a person field, along with the status. The Add to Campaign flow step is then configured with the lead tokens for those two fields - and it works like a dream.   Now for the other flows steps. If form includes hidden fields to indicate if an email should be sent, and another to define which email should be sent, then execute that flow step - using the 'data' in the form to identify the email.    The first part is straightforward, set up the form with a Boolean Field called sendEmail checked to true. The second, include a hidden field called emailToSend and pass a value to identify the email. On a program we have zero issue to add a Flow Step call
