Adobe Marketo Engage

Hi, I created a form with the Country field and used the Select option and populated the values -- I am able to select a country in the preview mode, but when the form is added to a landing page - the country I select does not show in the field box.  Is there a solution?

Hi all,  We have fields in Marketo mapped to Salesforce.  These fields have pulled data from Salesforce to Marketo (we don't want and have now used the option to "Block data from - Salesforce".  But the data isn't being pushed from Marketo to Salesforce. The integration user has read and write access to these fields.  How can we update which direction the data flows for these fields?    Thanks!

Hello all,  I'm trying to figure out if its possible to setup a trigger based on no activity on an form within a specific timer period.    Specific use case:We web form that uses an API to pass submissions to a Marketo form.  This form gets filled out many times every single day.  We recently had an issue where due to a bug by IT the API handshake between the web and the form was failing.  It took several days for me to catch this issue.   I'm wondering if it was possible to create a trigger that I could use to send myself and alert email if the form doesn't get a submission in a day.  Because all the trigger activities are based on PEOPLE's actions I am thinking this probably isn't possible, but before I give up on this idea I wanted to check with the Marketo HiveMind  ThanksMatthew 

I've noticed recently that it's possible for a field to be referenced by certain objects in Marketo - such as Launchpoint services like LinkedIn Lead Gen, and Revenue Cycle Analytics - and yet still have the "Field Used By" list show as blank. (RCE does show a helpful error message when trying to hide/modify a field, but still isn't visible on the list.)   Are there other objects that anyone has seen reference a field without it showing in "Field Used By?"

Hi everyone. I am bumping into an issue when using campaigns within my programs when using the  "add to SFDC" step in the flow section. I'm indicating the campaign to look for a specific list and simply send those contacts over to a specific campaign in salesforce. It worked well for most for the list but I keep getting this message for some of them: Failed: {DUPLICATES_DETECTED: Use one of these records?}.   Does anyone know if I can set rules around how to treat duplicated? id like to specify what happens to the contact instead of it just not being added?   Any help or insight here would be extremely valuable.

I have integrated Showpad with Marketo and set up the following flow in Marketo to get Showpad shares to be added to Salesforce campaigns. The problem is it does not seem to be picking up any results despite Showpad shares happening from Showpad. I have not been able to get any good answers from Showpad themselves on how to manage this integration so I'm hoping someone on the forum can help me understand how I can get Showpad shares to record and then sync to Salesforce campaigns.   Any advice on how anyone has achieved this is welcome. 

Hello Community,    I am seeking advise to see if its possible to display smart list results in a salesforce dashboard or whether this could only be archived via a 3rd party provider.    Example:  We have a smart list which identifies members of a key audience. A 2nd smart list looks at certain engagement activity from those within the key audience list such as if they carried out any of the following in a certain timeframe; - Filled out a form  - Filled out LinkedIn Lead Gen form - Subscribed to email comms  - Downloaded gated content  etc    The results are obviously just displayed as a list of people, but I would like improve how the results are displayed for sharing with internal stakeholders.    Is it possible to interpret a smart list into a Salesforce dashboard and has anyone successfully achieved this before?  We use salesforce dashboards to report on leads etc, but noticed the above types of fields don't seem to

I was browsing through some of the REST API's on Marketo's developer site and I stumbled upon the API on how to get deleted leads.Get Deleted Leads » Marketo Developers . Has anyone tried it out.Couple of question if you have tried it out:-- How far back in time we can go to pull the leads that have been deleted?-- Is there a way to pull email address of the deleted lead? [ I was only able to see the lead name in the primary attribute of the response]-- Are you able to find about the leads that were deleted on a specific day or within a specific timeframe (let's say month of August 2016)Looking forward to your inputs.

We are setting up our first engagement stream and need some help. We are trying to run tests on the engagement stream and are also wanting the sales rep to receive an alert email when that contact receives each email in the stream. While we are testing, we have put ourselves as the sales rep, but the alerts are not coming through when we receive an email. Do the alerts not trigger because they are test emails and the stream isn't live yet? I just want to be sure that they are working before we launch.

I'm not the usual user of our system, and we have an URGENT customer email.  I can't get the logo to come through on preview or the sample emails. Any suggestions.    No spaces in the image name.  It's in Design Studio, but it won't come through. 

Hi Team, I hope everyone is keeping well! I just had a thought on iOS 17 policy that will be released in September or early October. As we know that the link tracking information will be removed from the links users share in Messages and Mail, and the links will still work as expected. This will have an impact on Marketo's tracking paarameter mkt_tok as well.  Will this have any impact on Zoom Integration and Marketo forms that we use for webinar registration? We also use Marketo Landing Pages on our website. Will this have any impact on it? Happy to hear your thoughts or correct my understanding.   Kind Regards, Vidhi

I am trying to backfill data for a new field - Last Lead Source (with a new process behind it). As many of you probably have Lead Source/Last Lead Source set up, the field values are calculated based on UTMs primarily but with fallbacks when UTMs are not available. We do use Program channel > Status change quite a bit and certain forms submitted also in some source calculations.    To backfill Last Lead Source I would need to get the latest program channel > Status change for each contact that lacks Last Lead source data.  Similarly, though less important, getting the latest form that was submitted by contact. Ideally I'd want to get to this level  Contact name/ID Latest program channel > Status change Latest form submitted Person A Hosted Webinar > Attended Glo

I am looking to recreate something in Marketo that was possible in systems like Eloqua. Basically I have a list of 300 email addresses that I want to load into a Custom Data Object, but I do NOT want them to create contact records in Marketo. I want to use this Object to exclude this list of emails from a Smart List in an email send.    Is this possible in Marketo?

I am capturing UTM parameters in hidden fields on Marketo forms via cookie. Recently we noticed that some of users UTM values are not being captured in the hidden fields even though the UTM parameters are in website cookies. We reviewed the java script for the cookie code and its storing the values.   Does anyone know if there's a problem or if there are any bugs related to the forms in Marketo? I have a big event to create a registration page and form for. We are using "rental fields" for the timeframes (example 12:00-1:00pm) and then each session within that timeframe will be a value (session ID) in that same field. From there, I have a smart campaign that is looking for a data value in that rental field "containing" the session ID to pull them into their perspective event programs. I've tested what would happen if someone signed up for multiple sessions in one time frame and it isn't working as expected. I believe its because the values are being stored with";" at the end of the session ID. How can make sure this doesn't happen? Ideally, we don't want people to sign up for multiple in one timeframe anyway so is there a way to block them from doing that or at the very least, can we have them get pulled into all programs?   Here's any example of the form (the form won't show on the page like this so don't mind the non-stylized/complete version. I'm seeking input on how to best capture each email sent to individual recipients. I work in the financial services industry where we're required to retain any correspondence sent out to our membership. We were looking at adding a BCC field to each email program, but this is going to create a massive influx of emails to store. Does anyone have ideas, input, product suggestions? Thank you!
