Need to reduce the barriers to meeting bookings? Want to send your valuable leads directly into a meeting booking page directly from an email? In this blog post, I will walk you through using Dynamic Chat and Conversational Flows to trigger a meeting scheduling widget when someone clicks an email link so you can build a conversational experience to get your leads to sales calendars faster.   Step 1: Building your Conversational Flow First is to create your Conversational Flow that will handle the meeting booking. This should be as minimalistic as possible; a welcome message and a meeting booking card. Did Marketo modify its approval process for local and global assets? Previously, you could edit an asset even if it was being used in a live smart campaign or batch campaign. However, it appears that the current process requires no "Flow" reference to the asset before you can unapprove it. This change has made the process more difficult for our team. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

I'm in the process of setting up forms to replace many current forms on our site. For those who need a quick solution for live event attendance tracking in lieu of the Marketo Events App, you can use a Smart Campaign. In the Smart List, identify the emails who have checked in. Then use the “Change Program Status” Flow Step to set their attendance to “Attended” for the specific event. If you want to go further, you can create a custom/branded Landing Page and a form to collect the emails with a script that clears munchkin cookie after submission. You can then run those collected emails through the Smart Campaign you created.

Recently, my work team and I configured a flow to be able to eliminate people who will arrive with empty mail to Marketo, given that there is an integration to load the people we have in Salesforce. The flow is made with an intelligent "batch" list mode, which means that the people who are there until that day are loaded and the new people who arrive without email are not updated. That is to say, today 10/09 the flow runs but if someone new arrives tomorrow 10/10 it does not go through that flow. Is there any way to create this flow with triggers, taking into account that you want to immediately delete people who arrive without email?

Hi! In the mobile notifications of my emails (this only happens with iPhones apparently), the code of the header image is visible. Do you know if there is any way to avoid this? Thanks    

I am adding a Marketo Token into a link on a Landing Page which is not allowing me to save the page. I reached out to support and they are saying this is not possible. But we tested this and it worked fine before.   So my question is can you actually use a Marketo token in a URL on a landing page?

As part of our updates to Marketo Engage's Modern UX, we are updating the modals used in Reports assets to select assets in the Setup tab. These updates will be rolling out to all customers over the remainder of September and October 2023. We have an issue when cloning a program that already ran with populated static list. When we clone a program which contains a populated static list, it clones the static list with those leads within the new program. Furthermore it creates an activity in the leads activity log. For example if a lead was added to a ‘Converted’ list in the source program, he/she will be also automatically be added to the ‘Converted’ list in the cloned program, even though this lead never went through out this new program nor the program is activated yet.Does anybody know if it is possible not to copy the leads inside the static lists when cloning programs? Or if there is an idea already created that will go in this sense?Thank you!Domitille

 We recently ran an Engagement program with 7 emails sent to 6000 people. Wed like to repeat our nurture campaign and send it to those that didn’t open the emails in the first wave of sends. Is this something that is possible? For example if 1000 people didn't open Email #1 they can be picked up again with another program.

Hi guys,    Recently, Marketo is not pushing leads into the campaigns on SF. Looks like all the programs we have built in Marketo are doing that. Is there a solution for this? What steps do I need to take? Thank you. 

We want to fetch emailid and formid of the emails and forms that belong to a particular smart campaign using the smartcampaignid. Is there a way to do this using the API? I looked through the documentation and could not find anything that works. Something like this Asset - Marketo Developers endpoint but with a filter parameter for smartcampaignid.   Thanks!

Question on enabling MSI for SFDC profiles, as the documentation has us confused.   We've successfully installed MSI with Admin Profile permissions only. How do we update other profiles to have access to MSI?  The documentation includes:  For profiles that are allowed access Sales Insight: In Tab Settings, change the Marketo tabs to Default On In Custom Object Permissions, check Read, Create, Edit, and Delete on Marketo Sales Insight Config (if the user should have access to the config settings - typically used for Admins) Does that first step: changing Marketo tabs to "Default On" allow access to MSI for the profile or are we missing something?

Hello all!  I have launched an A/B test of the subject line. Where can I view the statistics for each of the emails? In the dashboard, I can see the number of opens and deliveries for each version, but not the percentages. I know I could calculate it manually based on the info in the dashboard... however, I was hoping to be able to see it in a report. Also,  can I find out which individuals received each of the versions? Thanks! 🙂
