Unable to use unitary event with a different namespace other than the namespace of read audience in my journey

Hello everyone,

I have a use case where i want to use unitary event inside my journey, but am unable to use my unitary event created because of the below limitation.

My journey has a read audience with namespace selected as HCPREFID a unique identifier and unitary event has namespace selected Email (because the schema am using i.e.,

AJO Email Tracking Experience Event Dataset

to create unitary event doesn't have HCPREFID field). But profile is getting stitched.

namespace needs to be the same. it's a guardrail.

Thanks,

David

Hi @davidkangni

Thanks for replying. What other options do I have here? But what if my field using in unitary event is different from read audience and also contributing to the profile enrichment? am i still unable to use it?

you don't have any options. Namespace needs to be the same and consistent in a journey and its versions.

Basically you can change the namespace of your read audience or of your event as the namespace is the identity use to define the profiles to enter the journey.

Thanks,

David
