Request for Edge Network for decision

I use a Contentful as a CMS for web. CMS requests Edge Decisioning API and then render the offer. I need to debug what identities are sent in the request do you know if that request land is some specific dataset?

For server-side Edge Decisioning requests from Contentful, the identityMap is not written to the system dataset ajo_exd_decision_event_dataset. Instead, the request payload lands in the Experience Event dataset mapped to the Datastream (configId / dataStreamId) used by the /interact call.

To debug identities, check the Datastream → attached Event Dataset → query fields like identityMap and _experience.decisioning.propositions. The ajo_exd_decision_event_dataset is mainly populated by Journey/Outbound decisioning flows, not generic server-side Edge fetches.

Do you know what is the eventType for such a request? Is it that?

For Edge /interact offer fetch requests, you generally do not need to send an eventType; decision retrieval works without it and this is typically the recommended approach for fetch-only calls.

Some implementations and SDK examples — especially in ExD/CBE scenarios — use decisioning.propositionFetch for fetch-related requests, but it is not consistently required or documented across all flows. Related proposition event types include:

decisioning.propositionDisplay → impression/view tracking
decisioning.propositionInteract → click/interact tracking
decisioning.propositionDismiss → dismiss/close tracking
