Below are steps for same :-

1. Set Up Your Data Sources

Before you start, ensure that you have the necessary data sources and integrations in place. This involves:

• Customer Data: Make sure you have customer profiles, purchase history, browsing behavior, and preferences captured in Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) or other integrated data sources.
• Product Data: Ensure that your product catalog, including product attributes and availability, is integrated and accessible.

2. Create and Configure a Journey

1. Create a New Journey:

   • Log in to Adobe Journey Optimizer.
   • Go to the "Journeys" section and create a new journey.

2. Define the Journey Entry:

   • Set up the entry criteria based on triggers such as user behavior, purchase actions, or time-based criteria.

3. Add Activities:

   • Email Activity: Add an "Email" activity to your journey to send out product recommendations.
   • Decision Splits: Use decision splits to tailor recommendations based on customer segments or behavior.

3. Set Up Product Recommendations

1. Create a Recommendation Engine:

   • Adobe Journey Optimizer allows integration with Adobe Experience Platform’s Recommendation Service.
   • Configure the recommendation engine by defining rules and algorithms to generate personalized product recommendations. This could be based on collaborative filtering, content-based filtering, or other methods.

2. Configure the Recommendation Service:

   • Define how products are recommended based on user behavior, past interactions, and other relevant data.

4. Design the Email Template

1. Create a New Email Template:

   • Go to the "Templates" section in Adobe Journey Optimizer and create a new email template.

   • Use dynamic content blocks to insert product recommendations. This involves using placeholders or tags that will be replaced with actual recommendations during email rendering.
   • For example, you might use a placeholder like {recommendedProducts} that gets replaced with a list of recommended products.

3. Incorporate Personalization:

   • Personalize the email content using customer attributes and behavior. For example, include the customer’s name and tailored recommendations based on their purchase history.

5. Integrate Recommendations into Email

1. Use Adobe Experience Platform's Recommendations API:

   • Ensure that the email content can dynamically pull in recommendations from the recommendation engine.
   • You might need to use Adobe Experience Platform’s APIs or data feeds to fetch and display recommended products.

2. Test the Integration:

   • Perform test sends to ensure that recommendations are being displayed correctly in the email.

6. Monitor and Optimize

1. Track Performance:

   • Use Adobe Journey Optimizer’s analytics and reporting tools to track the performance of your email campaigns.
   • Monitor metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates to evaluate the effectiveness of your product recommendations.

2. Optimize Recommendations:

   • Continuously refine your recommendation algorithms based on performance data and customer feedback.
   • Test different recommendation strategies and personalization tactics to improve engagement and conversion.
