Personalization attributes - which merge policy

1. I create read audience journey - merge policy for profile attributes in personalization syntax would be taken from merge policy from that segment

2. Event journey - default merge policy - email default set up in AJO?

Adobe Journey Optimizer | Journey Properties
If you update the merge policy for an audience, any active journey referencing that audience must be republished to access the new policy (see documentation).
