One-click optout from a subscription list in AJO

Is it (still) possible to add a one-click optout link in the email opting out from a subscription list (not channel or identity level)?

There is an old post about this, but the “Optout level = Subscription” is not available when I try to configure a journey. I am starting my journey with an ootb subscription list audience, and according to comments it should be available then.

Looks like the one-click List-Unsubscribe header link supports[0] only Channel or Identity scope — "Subscription" isn't an option there, so that old community thread is outdated.

To unsubscribe someone from a specific subscription list, use the two-step landing page opt-out: link the email to an opt-out landing page (AJO-built or external); the list updates when the user submits the form, not on the click.

Thanks for the quick reply. I was thinking the same. It’s a bummer that one-click optout can only be channel/id level.

There is a caveat: Consent layer does support level as subscription on a body-level direct-opt-out link, so a one-click (no-form) subscription opt-out can exist — just not via the mail-client header
