Journey that may require a Loop

Hello,

In my journey where a profile enters via an Event and is sent a Welcome email. Then, after a 30 day wait, I'm required to check to see if the profile has logged in to the app. If they haven't logged in since the initial Welcome, then they are sent a Re-engage.

It would be nice for AJO to have the same feature as ACC where I can send the profiles out the email into a wait statement and then a decision activity where if they have responded in the past 30 days, they go into a loop so they can be checked again the next day.

This can't be done in AJO - so wondering what's the best strategy to handle this?

You can explore the feasibility of directly checking this in the segmentation criteria, itself. This segment can be used in a batch journey (say, that runs daily)

Target users who received a welcome email 30 days before today and there is no app login event detected.

@montezh2001 You can't loop the profiles in a journey. There needs to be a strategy decision on when profiles don't login to the app even after a couple of reminders.

Thanks, Sathees

@satheeskannak @mohan_dugganab - I took the approach outlined above where I created an Audience of profiles that received a Welcome, and will check their login date to see if it falls within the date range needed to send the corresponding email.
