Journey Orchestration - Terminate Two Events into a Single Action

Hello,

I'm trying to accomplish this in Journey Orchestration.

  1. Terminate two events into a single action.  In the example below, if the visitor purchases they go to the Confirmation email, if they abandon, the get a Cart Abandon email and if they eventually purchase they should get the same Confirmation email.  I don't want to have to configure the Confirmation email twice (more work and prone to errors).  In the example below, I'd like both Purchase and Purchase1 to both terminate in Confirmation email.

How do I accomplish this?

Right - but how did you do that???  Nothing I do seems to connect the dots.

Just grab the pointer before the end text and drop it over the action.

Hello @mktgclouduser

The ideal approach is to create two journeys—one for Order Confirmation and the second for Cart Abandonment.

Also, Wouldn't the customer journey restart if the customer checkouts again from the Abandoned cart email?

No, I don't believe so as they are 'stuck' in the abandoned cart path which doesn't have another checkout - correct?  BTW, if you look at Adobe's Demo Next examples, this is the setup they have - is that not accurate?

For the sake of argument, how would you terminate two events into a single action?

Hello @mktgclouduser

You can just link the transition after the Abandoned cart email to Purchase email

Something like this:
