Is it possible to change the Address parameter for an email in a journey, which is already live?

I created a very simple journey, which receives an event and send an email to the user, the email address binding is defaulted to PersonalEmail.address. I have created this journey and enabled it as well, but now I am observing email failure as the email address attribute is not available in the profile. I am storing the email address under a different profile attribute, so wanted to know if we can use a different expression for the email address field in an already active journey?
