Implementing Mobile SDK in Campaign Standard and Journey Optimizer

I am working with a client on who recently implemented push notifications from Adobe Campaign Standard into their Android & IOS mobile apps,  using the mobile SDK, and they have launch (aka Data Collection) in the apps.  I know there needs to be additional configuration in Launch for AJO.  But I want to confirm if I would need to change any configuration within my mobile apps (Android & IOS) for AJO since it is already set up for Push in ACS?

They would need some additional extensions in their mobile SDK implementation
