How to add a custom url tracking parameter in an AJO Email

Hello,

Can we add the UTM Parameter utm_content to a URL of  a particular email instead of adding it to the Channel Surface, since I want the above UTM Parameter to appear in the URL where I have added this parameter?

Hi,

 

Yes, just remove them from the channel configuration and add them directly in the HTML when needed.

    Hi @priyangowda ,

    • Channel Surface is for global UTM parameters applied to all emails sent through that channel.
    • To have a custom UTM parameter like utm_content only in a particular email URL, edit the URL inside that email.
    • You can hardcode or use personalization to make utm_content dynamic.
