Enable Birthday campaign in AJO

Hi,

 

I am looking to enable birthday campaign in AJO. For the segmentation, I am just checking if birthdate=today's date, ignoring the year. Is this all I need to do from segmentation pov, or should I consider anything else as well? ps: I will sending birthday emails in the first week on birthday month.

@saurabhdeswal If you looking to send the emails the first week of the birthday month, maybe you can setup an audience that looks for birthdate=thismonth (ignore year) and set the scheduler in the journey to run every month once starting 1st day.

    Hi @saurabhdeswal 

     

    I believe @satheeskannak  was trying to tell you that by using birthdate=today's date you will select only customer who has birthday the day you will run your journey/campaign.

     

    Instead you should use birthdate=thismonth to get all customers who has birthday the month.
