Email tracking outside AJO

Question

how does AJO reporting work for email interaction line email open, email click etc ? does it read data from AEP or does it maintains its own database internally ? Consider a scenario where AJO sends email related content information via API to salesforce or other email platform. Now SF would have email interaction details such as email open, email click etc. Can we bring that SF email interaction data directly to AJO, or we must only ingest the data into AEP and then visualize in the CJA report ? This usecase is being discussed with the one of the client who do not want to use AJO email capabilities as its too costly for them. They do have AJO license and cheaper email palteform. How do we track email interaction in AJO if we use external email paltform outside AJO ?

@pradeep-jaiswal There are out-of-the-box datasets that track email interaction data in AJO.

You can import Salesforce interaction data into AEP and utilize that dataset to create visualizations in CJA. It's also important to consider whether to include all campaign interaction data or just those campaigns managed through AJO. When sending emails from Salesforce, it’s crucial to strategically decide how to use the feedback data in AEP, AJO, or CJA.
