Email channel surface without subdomain delegation

The client is migrating from Marketo to AJO, brand has various sub-brands, and the sender email address is unique for each sub-brand. However, the client is resisting the idea of following subdomain delegation for each sub-brand. The sub-brands do not have a technical team that can support this process, and they don't mind if the corporate or marketing mail delivery domain is the same.

Has anyone encountered a similar scenario? is it possible to set up Email channel surface without subdomain delegation?

Subdomain delegation is required.

Also, it's not recommended to use a parent or corporate domain as it could impact the delivery of email from your organization to ISPs as it may lead to an increased risk of recipients marking emails as spam, especially if the frequency is high or the content is not relevant. This can harm the sender's email reputation and deliverability.

@anuhya-y, My two cents: In this case, delegate one subdomain (e.g. mycompany.com) that everyone agrees on and setup different channel surfaces for various sub-brands with a unique sender email address (mktgbrand1@mycompany.com) based on the chosen subdomain. You will have to be cautious about risking deliverability as you are sharing one subdomain across all business units.

@satheeskannak I was also thinking along similar lines, but as @mohan_dugganab suggested, it is mandatory to follow subdomain delegation. Need to help the client understand the importance of subdomain delegation.

@anuhya-y Yes, subdomain delegation is mandatory, and educating the client about the impact that will have on the deliverability.
