That type of capping counts when actually offer was chosen in ODE Decisioning?

Level 2

Capping event basically means the number of times the offer can be presented.

The default is “Decision Event”, and the frequency and limit can be set. This sets how often can the offer be shown per profile or in total.

This setup basically means, an offer can be presented to a profile only once in day. So, if the offer has been shown to a profile Today, the same offer won’t be presented to the profile the same day. The limit resets the next day and the offer can be presented to the same profile the next day.
