Create audience based on journey selection

Hello users, 

I would like to create an audience based on the contacts/persons selected in a journey. I would like to select all, as I want to exclude them from another journey. 

But i have noticed that I can only select if I select the persons for sending email. If I use any custom actions, the persons in the custom actions are not selected. Is there any easy way to select everyone from a journey all together?

Custom action logs needs to be explicitly captured in AEP. If the API end point leveraged in custom action / downstream system is able to send a feedback event back to AEP, that data can be leveraged for exclusions in the other journey.

 

Using 'update profile' node is another option. Take a look at this documentation on the callouts https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/journey-optimizer/using/orchestrate-journeys/about-journey-building/update-profiles#recommendations
