Consequences of Overriding Email Address Parameters
Hello,
we need to send Amazon vouchers to our Clients who won a prize contest and we have to do it by email.
We also have to send them to custom email addresses which are not in our Customer Data Platform because they are given by the Clients when the sign up for the contest.
We are thinking of using the “Override Email Address” function in the Email Action Parameters to input custom email addresses from an external file, but we are not sure of the consequences.
- Is there a risk that we might create new ECID Profiles if we use email addresses which are not in the Customer Data Platform?
- Is there a risk that the emails, and thus the vouchers, won’t be delivered?
