Can i build the relationship between two event datasets in AEP

i have a use case where i need to build the relationship between two event datasets in aep. when i am trying to build relationship it is not working.

As for as i know the relationship can build between XDM experience event schema and the individual profile schema.

Is there a way where we can establish the relationship between two event dataset.
