Are Images and Content Blocks Supported in AJO Email Content Experimentation?

Is content experiment testing allowed on images and content blocks within email campaigns?
According to the documentation, I know that we can test the subline of an email, but there is no clear documentation indicating whether testing is supported for images or content blocks.

If the experiment was testing different variations of images, links, and text in the email, these could be made by editing the email body in each treatment. Configure content experiments for email campaigns
