Hi team,

What is the standard practice for enabling the "Add an alternative path in case of a timeout or error" option? Should this be applied to all action/orchestration activities?

I don't think there is a standard practice but.

I'm using it mainly to flag profiles who timeout on a custom action to update a flag and I'm using this flag to do a retry in another journey.

I can't tell if it's a standard practice or best practice but it's working for my use case.

Thanks for replay,

a) Can I use the "Add an alternative path in case of a timeout or an error" option for all activities (both Orchestration and Action), and will it affect the performance of my journey?

b) If not, when is it best to use this option, and what are the recommended scenarios for it?
