For how long profile and event data stays in AEP. Is there some expiry setting available where we can change this expiry.

Hi @shaini_gupta  -

All of the data ingested in AEP are stored within a dataset, the amount of data to be retained and maintained is decided by the customer. By default data ingested and stored in AEP is not deleted and has no retention time.

However, for experience event data, it includes an option called TTL - A mechanism that limits the amount of time that data lives within a dataset. This lets you automatically remove data from the Profile Store that is no longer useful for your use cases. For setting TTL on a experience event dataset, you should contact Adobe support.

Thanks,

Arpan
