Web Events Data Schema where to add Primary Identifier

We have a web events data schema used for our website events. Customer AI is not working because we need a primary identifier to be added to the schema. Where in the schema should we add the primary identifier? We intend to add CRM ID in this schema but would like to know exactly where to add it because it’s quite extensive.

Hey,
For adding an identifier, first select the attribute which you want to add as identifier then on the rightmost side it shows the properties of that attribute there you can find an identifier option, just tick that box and save it.

Hi.

The primary identifier should be added to the field that uniquely identifies a customer (for example, CRM ID or Customer ID). In AEP, mark that field as an Identity and enable Primary Identity with the appropriate identity namespace. For web event schemas, this is often managed through identityMap or a dedicated customer ID field.
