Send data to Adobe Analytics via AEP using custom schema

I have a client who would like to send mobile app data (custom analytics events & dimensions) to AEP via XDM and then on to Adobe Analytics using a custom schema rather than using predefined Adobe Analytics field groups. In addition, the client doesn't want to use processing rules as an alternative way to format custom XDM data in AEP and then send to AA.

Is there any other way to send analytics events and dimensions to a custom schema and then on to AA without using an analytics schema or processing rules for formatting?

Thanks

Hey @markst1

You can only send data to AA via XDM through the _experience field group or if using custom field group in a schema, you will have touse processing rules as you mentioned.

The above two methods are the only ones available cause one provides you automatic mapping and the other one provides you flexibility to use business friendly names which are then mapped within AA interface to eVars and props.

There are no other ways to do it.

Hope the above helps in confirming your thoughts.
