Segment Job request triggering AJO Audience Qualification Journey

Hi there,

I have a streaming segment that was built a few days ago and had 0 population this morning after the global segment evaluation. 

I uploaded a batch file that would contain around 30 customers who would fit the segment criteria. At the same time, I had an AJO journey with Audience Qualification reading off this segment. 

I ran a manual segment job request, which returned me the 30 counts in the response. That's fine, still expected behaviour so far. However, the AJO journey was triggered with the 30 profiles going through, and I was really surprised. I didn't expect:

1) Running the segment job request would realize profiles into the segment in too

2) The Segment Job request would also trigger the AJO journey. 

Is this expected behaviour, and does this mean we can also export the latest segment after segment job request is completed to destinations like sftp, Adobe Target etc.?

Also is there a way to "exit" the 30 profiles from the segment? As we also have segments in the journey downstream that weren't refreshed as journey trigger was unexpected.
