Refreshing data expiration on audience created by data distiller

Hello Team,

We used data distiller to create an audience in AEP and is regularly overwriting the data into the audience using scheduled queries, However audience created using data distiller comes with a default expiration time of 29 days, we are facing an issue where the data in this audience is dropping on the expiry data and Adobe confirmed that it is normal behavior. How can i refresh the data expiry? I know that i can manually go to the audience and click on refresh data expiry within 7 days of expiring, however since the whole process of overwriting the data in audience is automated, i want an automated process for doing so. There is an external audience api using which we can set the data expiry but this is not working so data distiller audience.
