Places Extension - Point of interest - Geo Fence greater than 20km

Hi all, 

I am looking at options within Launch's places extension for how we might setup a POI greater than 20km (that seems to be the default value it always pings back to).  Our use case is targeting roamers - people who have left NZ and are travelling abroad.  Our thinking was to make the country a POI but that doesn't appear possible with our implementation attempts so far.  Does anyone have any workarounds or tips on how to achieve our use case Geo fence?
