Link Opt out & update specific field.

Hi Team,

 

 

i am trying to understand based on Opt-out Management with below link

With current understanding, i am not able to change the fieldname in Email designer template.

 

Question : there is 1 field which i want to map while creating an unsubscription in email template.

just by adding Unsubscription link : with 1 click opt-out management, how do i map it to consent & preference(OOTB) and update respective value in email template. 

 

Same thing we have in landing page in ACS, similar thing i want to add in AJO checkbox and change the value of particular field.

Not great I'm afraid. AJO landing pages are not as advanced at ACS alnding pages and I've perosnally only found them useful for updating subscriptions on known profiles (it does that really well).

 

its not useful for having an external facing landing page that captures new signups from unknown profiles (although i do believe that is on the roadmap) and data capture and mapping is not a thing yet. also found the button to be quite limiting in that it can only perform a single funtion like 'opt into channel' or 'update subscription' but not both which created lots of unnecessary clicks.

 

personally I only use oanding pages for opt out or double opt in, everything else i do via web pages and http streams
