Have a matrix of iOs and Android library changes in line with code versions. We have recently spent a lot of time trying to work out why our iOs app was crashing when enabling Best Practice Tracking. After some time and discussions with Client care, it appears that this was once a plugin and not compatible with versions pre-v4. By having a release matrix of changes by code version would save us all a lot of time and make understanding implementations much easier. Developers do not have time time to be reading through reams of release notes and instead a simple quick ref guide would be ideal.
It'd be really great if Adobe quickly checked the JavaScript for errors prior Saving and Deploying. All too often I miss a semi-colon and have to wait ten minutes for the JS to be pushed to Akamai before I see it in my browser's error console. It'd be great to have the option to ignore errors as well as the option to run the error debugger without saving and deploying.
It'd be great to have Regular Expressions added to the Host/Path Match features in Tag Manager. The reason for this:What if I want to call JavaScript only on http://eric.com/matisoff but not on http://eric.com/matisoff/theFirstIt'd be really helpful to use RegEx in Path Match to define this.Sure I could do it in JavaScript, but doing this in that Path Match is cleaner.
Hello, our mobile customers would like to track: the user geolocation in a more accurate way than the one offered by the classical GeoIP approachunique visitors across website and apps.In order to track the user position with good precision, we are trying to leverage the existing GPS and Wi-Fi triangulation technologies built into the modern mobile device. We would use them to capture the user location and send it to SiteCatalyst. We are trying to accomplish this both in the mobile web case and the mobile app case. For example, an iPhone user could be using some online services on the www.foo.com website.Then he could use the same online services through the FooApp iphone application. On the website we would capture the user position using the browser GeoLocation APIs (this is possible in Safari and others html5 browsers).In the app, we would use the native phone APIs to get the position and send it using the AppMeasurement library.
