Adobe Experience Platform

For analytics we have three different Adobe app IDs: one for development, one for staging, and one for production. In the test version of our tvOS app we have added a way to switch between which app ID is being used. Whenever a tester switches the ID this code is called: var extensions = [Media.self, Identity.self, Lifecycle.self, Analytics.self, Signal.self] MobileCore.registerExtensions(extensions, { MobileCore.configureWith(appId: adobeApplicationID) }) However after switching to a new app ID the analytics are still being sent to the previous environment, until the app is killed and restarted.  Is there a way to make the switch so it is effective immediately, without having to restart the app?

We want to implement a Google Tag Manager Container in our websites where we are using Adobe Launch as a default to trigger Facebook Tags. Need a mechanism for Adobe Launch to connect to Programmatic Ad Pixels and Search Ads Conversion Tracking.  Specially need an implementation approach using Adobe Launch to fire Google's DV360 Floodlight pixels, or connect to Google Search Ads.     We have tried to install the GTM container through Rules, and it seems to turnoff the adobe launch tags (Facebook) and others. If there is any way to implement GTM container into website through Adobe Launch without disturbing the traffic of other existing tags, would be of much help.  Thanks in advance!  

Hi everyone.   My team is testing XDM as a way of retrieving data in one of our applications, and it is the first time we try this. We have already set the schema, datastream, configured the Adobe SDK extension and are just missing to create a Dataset. I found out that I do not have this option in my profile, but together with the PM we cannot find the option to grant access to this feature. Could you please guide us through the process? Hi, we cannot see Assurance (project griffon) in the left-hand menu of the Data Collection tab in the Experience Cloud. The debugger has been used before, so the developmental steps have all been successfully taken and it has worked in the past, but at the moment it does not appear in the list at all (see photo below). We have tried giving every access to this account, but it still does not appear in the tab on the left. What could be a possible solution to this? Thank you for your help.

Hello,   I have setup an HTTP API Streaming Connector in the experience platform. I noticed following when ingesting the data:1. The dataflow starts the processing every hour.2. I see the lag of >15 min when the data actually shows up as processing in the dataflow execution.  3. The records then take close to 10 min to appear in datasets.   I am using the /collection/batch API to ingest the data, with the number of records being very low. Is this usual for the data to take close to 25-30 min to land even with the streaming ingestion? If yes, is there a faster way to ingest the data?   Thanks

How to find how adobe launch sends default pagename value? In our new website default pagename value is wrong and we are trying to fix it. How to find where and how it comes to analytics?  

Hi, I have updated and added more data elements to Adobe Launch, and then I attached them to a rule and build the changes to the library. However, the newly added data elements are not showing on my Adobe Experience Platform Debugger, and the updated data elements are still showing the old value (even though I have changed the path).   I have tried to delete the who library and create a new library, but it still gives me the same result.   Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

I am coding Reactor API using node.js to create a new rule condition.  This rule should fire when clicked <a href url contains a perticular pattern (eg. href="tel:123456" condition, href contains "tel:"). I have following API call as example: .... attributes: { name: 'click-event', settings: JSON.stringify({ bubbleFireIfChildFired: true, bubbleFireIfParent: true, elementSelector: 'a#checkout' }), order: 0, delegate_descriptor_id: 'core::events::click' },.......   What should the settings / elementSelector contain - so that this fires when URL contains a perticular patteren?I am new to the API, hence apologies if I am asking a basic question.   Thanks in advance. How one can access a profile having more than 50 related identities ?

I am trying to create a new library to have my own library to create a new tag in development for testing purpose. If I create a new library will it include product site tags and other development tags as well? I am trying to understand how this versioning system works. Because we have 3-4 colleagues who works simultaneously.

How do I write the custom code to compare the build date and time for Adobe Launch and compare that with current time as shown in below article? Apologies for the basic question, but when I follow the documentation on how to disable a rule it doesn't seem to propagating to the production environment. What I'm trying to do: Disable some JavaScript deployed as a Rule in Adobe Experience Platform Data Collection.    Steps I've followed: I have disabled the rule within the rule authoring environment, created a new library with the disabled rule and approved and published the rule to production. However it looks like the JavaScript is still firing. Are the above the correct steps? What I need to do to remove JS from my site that was deployed via AEPDC? Thanks in advance.

For any segment we activate to a destination, we can see on UI there are columns for "Profile Received" and "IDENTITIES ACTIVATED" Sometimes, these are equal, but many times Profiles Received > Identities Activated and also a few instances of Profiles Received < Identities Activated    One will assume No. of eligible profiles in a segment = Profiles Received. Is this the case? Then what are Identities Activated?   Also, the Same segment is being activated to a Streaming Destination and S3 batch destination. The activation numbers differ here too! 

Hi, I am  writing into an array inside a data set using query service daily against a profile , coming next run we wish previous values of array to get replaced with the new values. As we notice right now values inside array fields are getting appended rather getting replaced. Example - Day 1 :     Data ingested using query (batch) ID Product Viewed Recently (array) 123 ‘A','B','C' In Profile we see Product Viewed Recently as ‘A’,’B’,’C’ across 0,1,2, array placement   Day 2   Data ingested using query (batch) ID Product Viewed Recently (array) 123 ‘D’,’E’,’F’   In Profile we see Product Viewed Recently as ‘A’,’B’,’C’ ,’D’,’E’,’F’ across 0,1,2, 3,4,5 array placement. Whereas only want to see ‘D’,’E’,’F’. Is there a way for specific dataset we can set possibility of replacing an array field instead of appending ?
