In CJA Data View, where is the Metric Deduplication setting?

Hi,

I can't find the Metric Deduplication check box? I looked and don't see it? Has this changed? Am I just blind? Below are the steps I was given.

 

 

  1. Step 1: Access Data Views

     

    1. Log in to Adobe Customer Journey Analytics.

    2. Navigate to Data Views from the main menu.

    3. Select the Data View where you want to enable metric deduplication.

     

    Step 2: Locate the Metric

     

    1. Click on the Components tab.

    2. Search for the metric you want to deduplicate (e.g., Purchase Event).

    3. Click on the metric to open its settings.

     

    Step 3: Enable Deduplication

     

    1. Find the Metric Deduplication checkbox and check it.

    2. Choose the Deduplication Scope:

       

      • Session: Deduplicates within a single session.

      • Person: Deduplicates across all sessions for a person.

      • Account: Deduplicates across an account.

       

    3. (Optional) Set a Deduplication ID (e.g., Purchase ID) to ensure unique tracking.

Hi @michaeljo13 ,

Which metric are you trying to use it for? Deduplication is not available for all the metrics in CJA, for example the standard metrics like Events, Sessions etc. won't have this option. So depending upon what metric you are using you may or may not see this option. For the ones that allow it you'll see it in component settings like below,
