Question

FAC workflow deletion

We have created multiple FAC workflows, and each workflow creates a saved audience. These audiences have also been activated to an S3 destination.

Now we need to completely remove one of these audiences from the system, including:

  • The S3 destination activation
  • The saved audience
  • The FAC workflow

However, I don't remember which FAC workflow created this audience. Is there a way to identify the FAC workflow using only the audience name?

Also, what is the correct deletion sequence? If I delete the audience, will it automatically remove the activation from the destination and stop/delete the associated dataflow run workflow, or do these need to be deleted separately?

Unfortunately, I don’t really use Audiences, or FAC Workflows, so I am not the best person to answer this.

However, there must be some sort of traceability available somewhere that can help you track it down? Maybe it’s not available in the front-end, Client Care may be able to see more logic and help you identify the correct flow?

Also, if no one else responds, Client Care may also be able to indicate the correct decommissioning strategy to avoid leaving orphaned pieces in the system?

If you do figure it out (with or without client care), please post back here the steps… I am sure you are not the only one with this question, so this could be a good resource for others in the same boat.

    Good Luck!
