Enable the option to customize sort/filter & search on the Dataflows page - AEP

  • Out of the box (OOTB) Filtering options provided by Adobe on the page is not relevant or useful to the end users 
  • When the users click on Filter, this shows the data sources, we do not use so many datasources
  • Unable to search/custom sort on the fields provided
  • Customizable options provided are limited

Hello @swathibu,

 

I understand your perspective and agree that the current out-of-the-box filtering and sorting options for dataflows in AEP are somewhat limited. You're right that the default filters may not always be relevant to your specific use case, especially if you're not utilizing many of the available data sources.

 

For now, I'd recommend leveraging the Flow Service API as a workaround to achieve more customized sorting, filtering, and searching capabilities.

As you mentioned, I noticed that there is currently only one filter available based on the sources. Unfortunately, you cannot add new filters ourselves.

 

 

However, I do see an opportunity to enhance this by adding filters for "label," "status," and "targeted datasets." I recommend reaching out to Adobe Support or the Adobe Product Team. If you share your requirement with them, it could be considered for a future release.
