Edge Ingestion Error

Hi, I have a bit of an urgent ask.

 

When ingesting data using the edge api call documented here

I get a 502 error: 

An error occurred while calling the 'com.adobe.experience_platform.edge_segmentation' service for this request. Try again.
 
How can this error be resolved for successful ingestion of data?

Hi @trojan_horse ,

Not sure about the exact root cause but there could be few possibilities,

  • Make sure that Edge Segmentation setting in your DataStream is configured inline with how you are trying to send/receive data to/from edge.
  • Network issues might be preventing communication with the edge segmentation service, have you tried a different network?
  • Edge segmentation service might not be reachable temporarily, you can try after some time and see if this work.

    @trojan_horse  adding to the suggestion list , I believe you are using API  call not UI

     

    - check the Adobe Service status page 

    - Test your API call with Postman or cURL and see if the error persists. If yes validate the request including endpoints
