Duplicate Visits on Android TV

Hi All, 

 

Currently we use Android mobile sdk on the Device Type - `Television` 'com.adobe.mobile:adobeMobileLibrary:4.18.2' . For some reasons, we see the number of visits are 10x higher compared to page views. We used some dimensions to see where they are coming from and found they are `unspecified` . Could some one please assist here on what situations the number of visits would be higher than page views ? We confirmed with the devs that there are no trackaction is trigerring an extra visit.

Hi Vijay,

 

I may be in case some user sessions get tracked with trackEvent only (no trackState calls are fired).

Thanks for your reply. 

 

We are getting 10x times of Visits which is ideally wrong. We have compared to iOS where we dont have so much Visits. Could you please assist on how to turn the duplicate visits off ?? The page views looks alright for me as i compared the trend from iOS. Only the visits are going up !
