CJA Derived Field Split function - is it limit to 2 or 5 calls per field?

Hi,

 

Exploring the Split function in Derived Field. According to the online document it states that the limit is 5 calls per field. But when I tried it, the limit is only 2. Is it because of license tier? or just a bug in the documentation?
