Can we edit the description of an existing schema in Adobe Experience Platform?

I would like to know whether AEP allows us to edit or update the description of an existing schema. Are there any limitations when modifying schema details after creation.

    Hi ​@patan15 

    Yes, you can update the schema description and display name of an existing schema in AEP. The description is metadata and does not affect the underlying data model. 

    I just did it - Changing display name and description from Test_Ram to Test_Ram 123. 

     

    However you can’t change the schema class, data type of existing fields, delete fields that are already used. etc.
