Best practices to copy/export schemas & object

HI there,

 

What are the best practices/steps we need to follow to export schema's from PROD sandbox to QA sandbox using packages?

 

Context is our QA sandbox is cleaned up and need to sync up our QA with PROD  schema objects.

 

I'm going through below article, but any pointers/directions from this group on exporting schema's/dependencies will be very helpful ?
