AEP Integration with Copilot Studio/Claude – Agent & Skills Setup

Hi there,

I’m exploring how to connect Adobe Exp

erience Platform (AEP) with Copilot Studio and/or Claude to build agents and reusable skills on top of AEP data.

Do we currently have any MCP server, native connector, or prebuilt integration available for AEP in this context?

If not, could you share any recommended guidelines or best practices for creating skills using AEP data (e.g., via APIs, custom connectors, or middleware)?

I did not explore any myself.. but I did create MCP across all API’s from AEP, CJA, AA, AEM, AJO,AT etc.. which works great for me to query against all these tools.

There are currently at least two connectors in Claude that leverage Adobe MCPs:

  • Adobe Marketing Agent: Adobe Marketing Agent for Claude Enterprise lets you interact with Adobe using natural language. Ask questions, get insights, and take action without leaving your workflow. It understands your intent and connects with Adobe solutions like Real-Time CDP, Journey Optimizer, and Customer Journey Analytics to deliver answers that help teams move faster and work smarter.
  • Adobe Journey Optimizer: Inspect, summarize, and troubleshoot Adobe Journey Optimizer campaigns, offers, and channel configurations directly from Claude. Turn AJO's retrieve APIs into plain-language answers so you can check campaign statuses, surface stopped or orphaned drafts, spot channel configuration issues, audit loyalty challenges, and review your orchestration portfolio without parsing JSON or jumping across product screens.

The AJO MCP server is in beta.

The biggest issue I have with these is really as a consultant. It’s challenging to switch between companies. And running both of these connectors at the same time seems to cause issues in Claude understanding which one I’m really asking a question of.

Aside from these, I’ll mirror Ganesh in that I I have created my own MCP as well for various things. I’m no developer on that kind of level, but I basically asked the Opus model that I wanted to create an MCP, what I wanted to use it for and asked it to plan out the MCP and walk me through the creation of the MCP in Claude Code (using Sonnet here to save tokens). It worked well, but definitely eats up Claude tokens (I pay for the Pro level in Claude which you need for Opus as well as Claude code).

I do hope that Adobe continues to work on their connectors and MCPs as I really want to use them for more than just asking questions. I want them to enable me to create schemas, datasets, rules in Tags, etc.
