AEP Dataset deletion - seeking for advice

Hi,

 

Used to work with AA and moving to the AEP world. In AA, seems there is no way to delete a Report Suite but also make ourselves very safe from losing any data. But in AEP, deleting a Dataset seems just too easy as long as you got the permission. Is there any way to config the way it works, say need another admin to approve the deletion or need to ask Adobe tech support to help etc?

@john_man from a Data Management perspective, if a user has the 'manage datasets' permissions then yes you are right, they can also delete that dataset. Having an approval process or a dedicated 'delete dataset' permission would likely be Enhancement Requests which you can report in the ideas section of this community.
