AEP Audience shows Estimated Profiles but Qualified Audience Size is 0

Hi Community,

I created an audience in Adobe Experience Platform using the following rule:

“Country Code equals IN OR SG OR AU”.

During audience creation, the estimated profile count showed 3 profiles. After publishing the audience, the audience details page shows Qualified Audience Size = 0.

The audience is configured with:

  • Evaluation Method: Batch
  • Lifecycle State: Published

Is this expected behavior for batch audiences? How long does it typically take for qualified profiles to appear after publishing?

Thanks in advance!

    Hi Suraj,

You have created batch audience that means you will have to wait until Audience batch evaluation is completed. Once Audience evaluation is completed, profiles will be populated in Audience.

Audience evaluation runs in after every 24 hours at specific time. If you want to populate audience count immediately, you can do it using On demand run but that comes with License limitations.

    Hi @Suraj,

The short answer is yes, this is expected behaviour.

Some points to be aware of are that the estimated count is just an assumption and can vary from the qualified audience size  once it gets populated. This happens once the batch segmentation job has actually executed against your audience.

Publishing an audience doesn't trigger an immediate evaluation; it just marks it active and ready for the next scheduled batch run. This can take up to 24 hours for the first cycle.

If it’s still showing 0 after the full batch cycle has completed, I'd flag it to Adobe Support with the audience ID and job ID, since at that point it's not just a timing issue.
