When editing assets (specifically files) in AEM, will the changes be synced to every page that the asset is located on?

This is an ideal question for this community https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-manager-assets/ct-p/experience-manager-assets-community

if the file is edited, its more about getting the latest version. On the publish instance, the only thing that needs to happen is to flush out the cached pages that has reference of these images. There are certain situations where the image references are not flushed on every page - I have seen this happening with RTE component.

Hope this helps!
